Pitre, 31, native of Chacahoula, La., and a resident of Gardere Subdivision, Gretna, for the past seven years, died Monday at 11:25 p.m.  He was the husband of the former Miss Emily Rawle and son of William Pitre and the late Octavia Pontiff, and brother of Mrs. A. Tomino.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the late residence in Gardere Subdivision with interment in McDonoghville cemetery.

Mason of Bayou Blue; one son, Lloyd Bergeron Sr. of Sontag, Miss.; one daughter, Velma Bergeron Rayborn of Houma; one brother, Franklin Pitre; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifton Bergeron; her parents, Willie and Maggie LeBouef  Pitre; five brothers, Joe, Henry, Harris, Justillian and Roosevelt Pitre; and one sister, Anita Pitre.  She was homemaker.

Franklin Pitre:  The Courier (Houma, LA), Tuesday, 9 March 2021:  Houma - Franklin Pitre Sr., 89, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on March 4, 2021.  A private burial will be held at a later date.  He is survived by his wife, Eunice Pitre; children, Marie Lambas, Mike Pitre (Emma), Julia Naquin (Calvin), Tammy Naquin (Moose), and Jason Pitre (Jamie); 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his son, Franklin Pitre Jr.; grandson, David Fonseca; great-grandson, Tyler Daley; parents, Willie Pitre and Julia Hamilton Pitre; step-father, Peter Ellender; and brother, Roosevelt Pitre.  Revelation 21:3-4  He who serves God will have everlasting life.  Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
