Harris Pitre:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Wednesday, 8 August 1951 - Of 317 West avenue, Harahan, Louisiana, on Tuesday, August 7, 1951, at 2 o'clock a.m., Harris Pitre, husband of the late Madeline Pontiff, father of Adam and Valery Pitre, Mrs. Annie Muscarrello and Mrs. Eva Falgout; also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; age 76 years; a native of Terrebonne parish, Louisiana.  Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of the Rheem Manufacturing Company, Oronite Chemical Company, Jackson Brewing Company and the Times-Picayune Truck Drivers, are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place from the Albert E. Briede and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 1160 Camp street, on Wednesday, August 8, 1951, at 9 o'clock a.m., followed by services at St. Rita's Catholic church, Harahan, La.  Interment in Garden of Memories.
