Obituaries for the children:

Claude Adeoda PitreOttawa Citizen, Monday, 4 November 1957:  Claude Pitre, 161 Montford Street, Eastview, died Saturday in hospital after a lengthy illness.  He was 61.  A Royal Canadian Engineers veteran of the First World War, he was born in Brattleboro, New York, son of the late Napoleon Pitre and the former Rose Labelle.  A plumber-contractor by trade, he retired a year ago.  He lived in Eastview for the past four years and prior to that resided in Timmins and Hawkesbury.  He married the former Gracia Boivin in 1922.  He attended Notre Dame Du St. Esprit Church in Eastview and was a member of the Timmins council, Knights of Columbus.  Left is his wife, two sons, Jean-Jacques of Ottawa and Fernand of Cornwall; three daughters, Mrs. Jean-Paul (Marcelle) Lepage of St. Rose de Lima, Mrs. Dunstan (Therese) Mullaly of Ottawa and Rev. Sister Ste. Francoise Cabrini (Francoise) of the Grey Nuns of the Cross, Ottawa; five brothers, Lucien of Chicago, Zenophille and Armand of Hawkesbury, Charles of Eastview and Adrien of Buckingham, Quebec; five sisters, Miss Leontine Pitre of Montreal, Rev. Sister Marie-Lucien of the Grey Nuns of the Cross, Ottawa, Mrs. Alphonse Rethier of Gatineau, Mrs. Edmond Chauvin of Paincourt and Mrs. Olivier Charbonneau of Hawkesbury.  The body is at Racine and Robert Ltd.  The funeral will be held Tuesday with requiem high mass at Notre Dame du St. Esprit Church at 7:30 a.m.  Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.

Marie Alexina Armandine Pitre:  Pitre - Sister Marie-Lucien (Armandine Pitre), of the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa, died at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa on 16 June 1988, at the age of 86 years, including 63 years of religious life.  She was the daughter of Napoleon Pitre and Rose-Alba Labelle, deceased.  Born in Hawkesbury, Ontario, she entered religious life on August 15, 1922 and made her profession on July 15, 1924.  She is survived by one sister: Mrs. Edmond Chauvin (Albertine) of Pain Court, Ontario; three sisters-in-law: Mrs. Gracia Pitre (Claude), Gloucester, Ontario, Mrs. Blanche Menard (Armand), Blackburn Hamlet, Ontario and Mrs. Jeannette Pitre (Adrien), Buckingham, Quebec also several nephews and nieces.  The mortal remains rest at the Oratory of the Motherhouse, Ottawa.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the chapel of the Motherhouse, Saturday, June 18 at 9 a.m. followed by interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Ottawa.

Marie Regina Noella Eleonard Albertine Pitre:  The Windsor Star (Windsor, ON), Saturday, 27 February 1993:  Chauvin - Mrs. Albertine Marie Chauvin of Pain Court, Ontario died in Deerfield Beach, Florida on Thursday, February 25, 1993 at age 79 years.  Daughter of the late Napoleon Pitre and Rose (LaBelle) Pitre.  Albertine was born in Hawkesbury, Ontario.  She was a retired school teacher.  She was also a member of Le Club de L'Amitie and The Ladies of Ste. Anne Society of Pain Court.  Surviving are her husband Edmond Chauvin; five daughters, Michele and her husband Jules Bourdon of Chapais, Quebec; Louise and her husband Paul Bard of Orleans, Ontario; Rachele and her husband James Murdoch of Kingston; Nicole and her husband John King of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Joceline Chauvin of Kingston.  Three sons, Hubert Chauvin and his wife Esperanza of Orleans, Ontario; John Pierre Chauvin and his wife Linda of Manitowadge, Ontario and Gilles Chauvin and his wife Brenda of London.  Also surviving are 20 grandchildren.  Mrs. Chauvin was the last member of her family, being predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.  Resting at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, Chatham from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday and on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  The funeral mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church in Pain Court on Monday at 10 a.m.  Parish prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m.  Members of The Ladies of Ste. Anne and Le Club de L'Amitie will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m.  Interment will be in the church cemetery in Pain Court.
