Misc.: The Ottawa Journal (Ottawa, ONT), Monday, 30 August 1948: Buckingham, Que., Aug. 29: (extracted) Police seeking driver of half-ton truck who piled up 3 cars on the Masson-Buckingham highway, abandoned it after sheering a telephone pole and ending in a ditch. The truck was owned by Adrien Pitre of Buckingham. Mr. Pitre had left the truck outside a restaurant about halfway between Masson and Buckingham while he went in to eat. An unidentified man stole the truck while he was inside the restaurant.
