Obituary: The Daily Advertiser (Lafayette, LA), Monday, 10 July 1972: Funeral services will be held at a 10 a.m. Requiem Mass tomorrow in Downers Grove, Illinois for Lucien C. Petrie, 77, who died Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Lafayette General Hospital after a brief illness. Interment will take place in the Queen Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois. Mr. Petrie was a native of Brattleboro, Vermont and had resided in Lafayette for a short time. He was a plumber until his retirement in 1957. Survivors include one daughter, Miss Joan Petrie of Downers Grove, Illinois; three sons, James, Edward and Allen Petrie, all of Downers Grove, Illinois; and several brothers and sisters from Canada. Delhomme Funeral Home, are the funeral directors in charge of the local arrangements.
