Misc:  Buffalo Evening News (Buffalo, NY), Saturday, 12 May 1956:  Orlando, FL, May 12 - An 18-year-old mother was rescued today from a knife-carrying abductor who held her captive for seven hours.  Deputies with bloodhounds tracked down a man identified as Frazier Peterson, 34, of Holyoke, Mass., and forced him to release Mrs. Evelyn Johnson.  Police said the woman was unharmed.  Peterson also was wanted on charges of kidnaping an 11-year-old girl at South Hadley, Mass., last April 21.  The child was found the following morning after being held captive five hours.  Peterson said he was released from Massachusetts State Prison March 20 after serving 13 years for criminal assault.  The woman said Peterson came to her home here late Friday and asked for a drink of water.  She said when he came into her house, he pulled out a kitchen knife, grabbed her throat and forced her to pack clothes.  Neighbors saw Peterson forcing Mrs. Johnson into her car and telephoned the sheriff's office.  Deputies in neighboring Seminole County caught Peterson early today after the car became stuck in sand near Geneva, Fla., 10 miles east of Sanford.  Authorities said Peterson was trapped when he went to the home of Alex Levine and tried to steal another car.  Levine struggled with Peterson, then called the sheriff as Peterson fled into the underbrush with the woman.  Peterson was still holding a knife at the woman's throat when he was spotted, but he was captured after two warning shots were fired.  He then returned to Orlando where authorities said charges would be filed.  The woman's 16-month-old son was left at home.  Mrs. Johnson's husband, Staff Sgt. Wayne T. Johnson, discovered his wife was missing when he returned from Patrick Air Force Base, Cocoa, Fla.  [On 10 July 1956 he was sentenced to 5 years in prison.]

- Watertown Daily Times (Watertown, NY), Saturday, 8 September 1990:  Frazier O. Peterson, 68, Route 12, Hammond, was charged with third-degree counts of selling and possessing a controlled substance.  The charge reportedly stems from an incident involving cocaine on July 30 in the Town of Alexandria.  Mr. Peterson was arrested on a sealed indictment that was opened Friday in Jefferson County court.  Mr. Peterson was committed to Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. [Fined $350 and sentenced to 5 years probation.]

- In November 1992, he was ticketed for drunken driving.  In June 1994, he was charged with stealing $50 worth of goods from SunFoods.  In October 1997, he was charged with petty larceny.  In October 1998, he was charged with failure to appear on two city bench warrants.
