Jean Pitre: Nashua Telegraph, Saturday, 6 June 1953: Peters - Died in Amherst, Friday, June 5, 1953, John Peters. Friends may call at the John T. Smith and Son funeral home in Milford from 2-4 and 7-9 on Saturday and Sunday. High mass of requiem will be celebrated at St. Patrick's church on Monday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in the family lot at St. Patrick's cemetery in Amherst.
- Nashua Telegraph, Saturday, 6 June 1953: John Peters - Amherst, June 6 - John Peters died at his home on the Milford rd at Cricket Corner in Amherst Friday after a short illness. He was born on July 20, 1867, in Rustico, Prince Edward Island, the son of Joseph and Pelogie (Arsenault) Peters. He came to Amherst from Fitchburg, Mass. and has resided in Amherst for 26 years. He was a stone mason contractor. He leaves his wife, Exilda Peters; two sons, Daniel Peters of Wellington and Gilbert Peters of Fitchburg, Mass. L. Keeley Smith has charge of funeral arrangements.
Henry Peters: Portland Press Herald (Portland, ME), Wednesday, 10 February 1954: Westbrook, Feb. 9 - Henry Peters, 83, of 85 Lincoln St., died today in an Augusta hospital after a long illness. Mr. Peters had lived here 35 years. He had been employed by the Dana Warp Mills. He was born on Prince Edward Island, June 5, 1870, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Peters. He was educated in schools there, coming to this country 52 years ago. Surviving are his widow, Alice Parent Peters; a son, Albert Peters, New York City; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine LaPierre, Portland, and Lillian, Boston; two step-sons, Leo and Henry Charette, Westbrook; two step-daughters, Mrs. Albertine Larivee and Mrs. Blanche Greenlaw, Westbrook; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral will be held at 8:15 a.m. Friday from 35 Church St., followed at 9 a.m. by a Requiem High Mass in St. Hyacinthe Church. Interment will be in St. Hyacinthe Cemetery.
Simon Pitre: The Bangor Daily News (Bangor, ME), Wednesday, 18 April 1945: Simon Peters. Orono, April 17 - Simon Peters, 63, died April 17 after a brief illness. He was born in Rustico, P.E.I., son of Joseph and Bernice Arsenault Peters. For the past 35 years he had lived in Orono. Besides his wife, Margaret LeBreton Peters, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frank Duguay of Orono and Mrs. Leo Cote of Old Town; a brother, Henry of Westbrook; a sister, Mrs. Charles LeBreton of Anson, and 12 grandchildren. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, where funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock.

Madison, Oct. 27 - Mrs. Minnie Lebreton, 71, died at her home in Anson today following a long illness. She was born Nov. 18, 1880, at St. Marie, N.B., daughter of Joseph and Pelagie Arsenault Peter. She married Charles Lebreton of Chatham, N.B., Oct. 1, 1900, and for the past 25 years, has made her home in Anson. Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, John and Walter of Madison, Henry of Anson, and Charles, Jr., of Osgood, Ind.; eight daughters, Mrs. Priscilla Parish of Raleigh, N.C.; Mrs. Bessie Bouchard and Mrs. Sylvia Deroche of Madison; Mrs. Margaret Martin and Mrs. Virginia Bouchard of Old Town; Mrs. Evangeline Quimby, Mrs. Leona Berry and Mrs. Bernice Beaumont, all of Anson; two brothers, John Peters of Fitchburg, Mass., and Henry Peters of Augusta; 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the residence in Anson. High Mass of Requiem will be celebrated Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the St. Sebastian church in Madison with the Rev. John J. Beecher, officiating. Interment will be in St. Sebastian cemetery, Madison.
