Mary 'Evangeline' Pitre:  The Bangor Daily News (Bangor, ME), Tuesday, 8 April 1958:  Mrs. Fred L. Cail.  Brownville Junction - April 7 - Mrs. Mary E. Cail, 71, died suddenly this morning at her home.  She was born in Lot 4, Prince Edward Island, Dec. 29, 1886, daughter of Leo and Mary (Brown) Peters.  She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church.  Surviving are her husband, Fred L. of Brownville Junction; five sons, Pearley and Donald of Brownville Junction, Albert of Rockland, Harold of Windsor Locks, Conn., and Gordon of Millinocket; a daughter, Mrs. Bracie Whiffen of Rockland; two brothers, Albert and Henry of South Nelson, N.B.; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Small of Danvers, Mass., and Mrs. Jack Hubbard of South Nelson, N.B.; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  Friends may call at the Lary Funeral Home in Milo Tuesday from 2 to 4 o'clock in the afternoon and 7 to 9 o'clock in the evening.  Rosary will be said Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Francis Xavier Church with the Rev. James Keegan officiating.  Interment will be in the Pine Tree Cemetery.

Francis Xavier Pitre:  The Bangor Daily News (Bangor, ME), Wednesday, 1 August 1956:  Frank X. Peters - Smyrna Mills, July 31 - Frank X. Peters, 64, died today at an Island Falls hospital after a long illness.  Born at Summerside, Prince Edward Island, September 21, 1892, he was the son of the late Leo and Mary (Brown) Peters.  He had been a resident of Smyrna Mills for 44 years.  Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; five sons, Leo, Lawrence and Francis, all of Smyrna Mills, Earlon of Plantsville, Conn., Kenneth of Milford, Mass.; three daughters, Mrs. Archie McDonald of Smyrna Mills, Mrs. Cassius Heckett of Old Orchard Beach, Mrs. Joseph Cessario of Plantsville, Conn.; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Cail of Brownville Junction, Mrs. Lawrence Small of Danvers, Mass., Mrs. Jack Hubbard of South Nelson, N.B.; two brothers, Albert and Henry, both of South Nelson, N.B.; 21 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.  Friends may call at the Bowers funeral home at Island Falls.  Funeral arrangements will be announced.
