Arthur Henry Pitre:  The Times Transcript (Moncton, NB), Monday, 31 May 1976:  The death of Arthur Pitre of St. Paul, Kent County occurred Saturday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital after a long illness.  Born in Chelsea, Mass., in 1889, he was a son of the late Albert and Madelaine (Bernard) Pitre and was a retired barber.  He attended St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.  His first wife: the former Virginie Richard died in 1965.  He is survived by his second wife, the former Emma Cormier; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Roy of Leominster, Mass., Mrs. Eddie Collette (Claira) of Moncton, Mrs. Livie Robichaud (Doris) of Gardner, Mass., and Mrs. Nora Richard of Leominster; one son, Edmond of Judith, Nova Scotia; four sisters, Mrs. Geremi Arsenault (Mamie) of Mount Carmel, Prince Edward Island, Mrs. Eleanor Arsenault of Lewisville, Mrs. Susie Spencer of Moncton and Mrs. Laudia Leger of Shediac; two brothers, Gilbert of Coal Branch and Antoine of Canaan Station.  Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  The body will rest at Frenette's funeral home, with funeral mass to be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Judith Eleonore Pitre:  The Times Transcript (Moncton, NB), Tuesday, 13 May 1986:  Mrs. Judith Eleonor Arsenault, 91, widow of Guillaume Arsenault, of the Villa Du Repos, Shediac, and formerly of Lewisville, died Monday at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton after a brief illness.  Born in St. Paul, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Madelaine (Bernard) Pitre.  She was a housewife and attended St. Louis de France Roman Catholic Church, Lewisville.  Her husband died in 1951.  She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Anita Lafrange of Newton, Mass., Mrs. Rita Miousse and Mrs. Therese Maillet both of Moncton, Mrs. Jean Louis Bouillon (Tina) of Joncquire, Que., and Mrs. Alonzo Richard (Evelyne) of Ste. Marie; two sons, Augustine and Antoine, both of Moncton; two sisters, Mrs. Suzanne Spencer of Moncton, Mrs. Laudia Leger of Shediac; 48 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.  Two sons, Alfred and Francis, and two daughters, Mrs. Dora Melanson and Mrs. Jean Baptiste Allain, died previously.  The body is at Frenette's Funeral Home, Moncton.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis de France Roman Catholic Curch, Lewisville.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shediac.

Joseph Anthony Pitre:  The Moncton Transcript (Moncton, NB), Thursday, 2 December 1982:  St. Paul - Antoine Joseph Pitre, 80, died Wednesday at The Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness.  Born at St. Paul, Kent County, he was a son of the late Albert and Madeleine (Bernard) Pitre, and had been employed with Canadian National Railway until retirement.  He attended the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.  His wife, the former Mary Yvonne Swift, died in 1975.  He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Paula Currie of Edmonton, Alta., Mrs. Eileen Belliveau of St. Paul and Mrs. Jean Gaudet of Moncton; two sons, Clarence Pitre of St. Paul and Gerald McDonald of Leominster, Mass.; three sisters, Mrs. Susan Spencer and Mrs. Eleanor Arsenault, both of Moncton, and Mrs. Elodie Leger of Shediac; a brother, Gilbert Peters of Coal Branch; 23 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and by several nieces and nephews.  The body will be at Frenette's Funeral Home, Moncton, this evening.  Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday from the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
