Obituaries for the children:

Joseph Alphonse Pitre:  Telegraph Journal (St. John, NB), Wednesday, 26 September 1973:  Pitre - At the Collingwood Nursing Home, Pennfield, Sept. 25, 1973, Joseph Pitre of Utopia, Charlotte County; survived by his wife, three daughters, five sons, three brothers, one sister, 16 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Resting at the St. George Funeral Home where the rosary will be said Wednesday at 8 p.m.  Funeral will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m., when the body will be taken to Stella Maris Church, Black's Harbour, for high mass of requiem at 9 a.m.  Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
