Obituary:  The death of Pearl Pitre of Armstrong, wife of the late Charles Pitre, occurred on April 22, 2003, at the St. Joseph Hospital, Dalhousie, at the age of 94.  She was born in Belledune to the late Joseph Daigle and Christine (Bertin).  She is survived by her sons, Ralph (Ruby) of Charlo, Manuel (Florance) of Doaktown, Gordon (Jeannette) of Armstrong, Norman (Sandra) of Black Point, daughters, Genevieve Daigle of St. Stephen, Bernadine Legacy (Manuel) of Armstrong and Kathleen Lapointe (Chester) of Jacquet River.  She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Charlie, sisters, Mary and Agnes, and her brother, Clement.  Pallbearers were grandsons, Kenny and Dean Pitre, Chester and Darren Lapointe, Keith Legacy, Ralphy Guitard and Charles Daigle.

Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd.:  At Lincourt Manor, St Stephen, NB July 1, 2015, Genevieve Mary Daigle.  Wife of the late Edgar Joseph Daigle.  Daughter of the late Charles Joseph and Mary "Pearl" (Daigle) Pitre.  Survived by her seven children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, four brothers, several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by one daughter, two sisters and one brother.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, Milltown Blvd., St Stephen, NB on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 10 AM.  Visiting hours will be held at The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., St Stephen, NB. on Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.

Joseph Manuel Pitre:  Davidson's Funeral Home:  It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish.  Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Manuel Joseph Pitre (Doaktown, New Brunswick), who passed away on October 29, 2019.  He was predeceased by his parents, Charles Pitre and Pearl Pitre (Guitard); his sisters, Genevieve, Birdene and Kathleen; and his half-brother Ralph Guitard.  He is survived by his children, Laura Donovan (late Nick) of Renous, Vincent Pitre (Donna) of Renous, Genevieve Beek (William) of Storeytown and Susan Van Ryn (Bill) of Ontario; his step-children, Rosanne Carr (Larry) of Fort McMurray, Lyne Couture (Burt), Johanne Munn (Philip), Renee McAulay (John) and Yvon Couture (Shawyan); and his brothers, Gordon and Norman.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Gordon Pitre:  MacMillan's Funeral Home:  We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2019, Gordon Pitre (Black Point, New Brunswick), born in Belledune, New Brunswick passed away.  He was predeceased by his parents, Charles Pitre and Pearl Pitre (Daigle); and his siblings, Manuel, Genevieve Daigle, Kathleen Lapointe and Ralph.  He is survived by his wife Jeannette Pitre; his daughter Collette Pitre (John Steeves) of Campbellton; his grandchildren, Amy, Samantha, Martin and Kayla; his great-grandchildren, Lea, Kayleigh, Eathan and Elsa; and his brother Norman (Sandra).
