10 February 1829 Indenture (V1, #83) – This Indenture made the tenth day of February in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine between Michael Petre of Bathurst parish County of Gloucester and Province of New Brunswick farmer and Luce his wife of the one part and John Babtiste Terrio of the same place farmer of the other part.  Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of ten pounds current money of said province well and truly paid to the said Michael Petre and Luce his wife by the said Babtiste Terrio upon or immediately before the sealing and delivery of these present the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged they the said Michael Petre and Luce his wife hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the said John Babtiste Terrio his heirs and assigns a certain piece parcel and tract of land situate lying and being in Saint Peters in the parish and County aforesaid being a part of lot number seventeen granted to Michael Petre Senior to commence where the north easterly line of part of said lot now in possession of said Michael Petre intersects at the shore thence north seventy eight degrees forty five minutes west to the end of said lot number seventeen thence south eleven degrees fifteen minutes west forty five feet, thence south seventy eight degrees forty five minutes east to the shore thence along shore northerly to the place of beginning containing twelve acres and two rods more or less together with all and singular the buildings and improvements thereon with all the privileges rights and appurtenances belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said piece parcel or tract of land above described together with all and singular the buildings and improvements thereon with the hereditaments and appurtenances rights and privileges to the said lot piece or parcel of land above described belonging or in any wise appertaining or otherwise usually held or enjoyed unto the said John Babtiste Terrio his heirs and assigns forever and to and for his and their use and no other In Witness whereof the said Michael Petre and Luce his wife in full discharge of her right of dower in the above described premises have hereunto set their hands and seals on the day and year first herein before written.  Signed Sealed and Delivered in presence of us Signed Ferdinand Degrace signed P.
