Father Bourgeois officiated at 2. Pall-bearers were: Maurice, Johnnie and Yeager Soileau, Jack Tate, Leroy Deville and Martin Bordelon. Interment was made in the Ville Platte Catholic cemetery under the direction of Morgan Brothers, Ville Platte Funeral directors.

Mrs. Pitre was the widow of the late Magnes Pitre, She is survived by four sons, Marshall, Edward and LeRoy Pitre of Ville Platte, and Jean Pierre Pitre of New Orleans; two daughters, Mrs. Sidney Johnson and Mrs. Edward Ortego, Ville Platte, and two brothers and a sister, Johnnie and Marius Soileau and Mrs. Eugene Vidrine, all of Ville Platte.

Mr. Pitre is survived by his widow; three brothers, Gene Pitre of New Orleans and Marshall and Edward Pitre, both of Ville Platte, and two sisters, Mrs. Sidney Johnson and Mrs. Edward Ortego, both of Ville Platte.
