- "No. 18, 4-28-1770 Marriage Contract. Jacques Troxler (Trosclair), widower of Jeanne Dorvin, promises to marry Elizabette LeRoux, daughter of Antoine LeRoux and Marie Touriaux. Witnesses for Troxler: Antoine Bertrant, Christoph Troxler, Jacques Rixener, and Joseph Andra. Witnesses for Elizabette LeRoux: Georges Haidel (Haydel), Vincent Boyaux (Boyer), Antoine Albert, Joseph Andra, and Robert Lavigne."

- 10 June 1778: Bought a slave named Marie (14) from Vincent Boyer for 350 piastres.

- 12 June 1780: Bought slave Paul (23) for 300 piastres.

- 15 November 1780: His 3-arpent farm sold to Jean Baptiste Rodrigue for 800 piastres.

- 1784 census of the Second German Coast: Jacque Troxler, wife Elizabeth Le Roux - males 3 <13, 1 (49+), females 5 <13, 1 (13-49)

- 24 November 1794: Bought 5-arpent farm for 2000 piastres (bounded above by George Christophe and below by Pierre Perret).  He then swapped his now 7-arpent farm with Pierre Perret's 6-arpent one.

- 7 February 1795: Bought slave Michel (18, native of Congo) for 410 piastres.

- 13 August 1800: Sold slave Victoire (15) for 900 piastres.

- #68: Jacques Troxler claims a tract of land, situate on the west side of the river Mississippi, in the county of German Coast, containing 13 arpents in front, and 40 arpents in depth, and bounded on the upper side by land of George Christophe, and on the lower by land of Andre Hymel.  It appears that the claimant did actually inhabit and cultivate the land now claimed on the 20th December 1803, and that the same was continually inhabited and cultivated by him, or those under whom he claims, for more than 10 consecutive years next preceding.  Confirmed.  [First Settlers of LA Territory, vol. 2]

- 28 April 1809 Inventory: community property appraised at $25,695.  Included "farm, 12 arpents wide, located about 37.5 miles above N.O., 40 arpents deep, with 40 arpents of cultivable land fenced,  ....having a beautiful main house, an excellent establishment, a large number of pecan trees and a great quantity of arable land (100 arpents), appraised at $12K (includes 28 slaves).
