Peter Pitre: Fitchburg Sentinel (MA), Saturday, 7 May 1949: Gardner: Pierre Pitre, 83, of 3 Coleman street, died at his home last night after a long illness. He was born in Prince Edward Island, June 10, 1863, and had resided here about a half century. He was a carpenter previous to his retirement 10 years ago. He was a member of the Gardner local Carpenter’s union and the Sacred Heart league. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. George Gagne; two sons, Arthur and Maxime; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grand-children all of this city. The funeral will be Monday at 8 a.m. in Holy Rosary church with burial in Notre Dame cemetery. Calling hours at the Bourgeois funeral home will be today and tomorrow from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 o’clock.

Joseph P. Peters died suddenly yesterday at his home, 126 Bergen street.
He was born at Prince Edward Island, Canada, forty-four years ago, and had been
a resident of Brooklyn for twenty-eight years. He is survived by a widow,
Mary; one daughter, Elizabeth, and two sons, William and John.
He attended St. Paul's R.C. Church, where a
solemn requiem mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 A.M. Interment will
be at Holy Cross Cemetery under direction of Thomas E. Crowe of 15 Emile street.
Mary Jane Pitre: The Bath Daily Times (Bath, ME), Tuesday, 13 November 1951: Mrs. Mary Jane McNally, 78, widow of Owen McNally, died Saturday night at her home, 31 Liberty street. She was born April 24, 1873, in Prince Edward Island. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality of St. Mary's church, the Pine Tree Lady Foresters and the auxiliaries of Smith-Tobey Post, A. L., and of Dyer-Flaherty Post, VFW. Surviving are three sons, Edmund Arsenault of Portsmouth, N.H., Wilfred Arsenault of South Portland and Henry Arsenault of Millbrook, N.Y., three daughters, Mrs. Nora M. Morse and Mrs. Angie Sunquist, both of Bath, and Mrs. Bertha Emond of Swampscott, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. Minnie McPherson of South Portland; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Requiem High Mass was held for her Tuesday morning at eight o'clock from St. Mary's Roman Catholic church by Rev. Fr. John E. Bellefontaine. Bearers were Norman Morse, Edmund Hagan, Noel Emond and Eric Sunquist. Burial was in the family lot at Calvary cemetery.

Philomene Peters: Portland Press Herald (Portland, ME), Sunday, 13 April 1958: South Portland - Mrs. Minnie P. McPherson, 81, of 22 Wescott Rd., died Saturday in a Portland hospital after a short illness. She was born in Tignish, P.E.I., Jan. 14, 1877. She was the widow of Matthew C. McPherson. She lived in Bath for many years until coming here about 20 years ago. She was a member of the Corliss Street Baptist Church, Bath. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lelia Hunter, with whom she made her home; a son, Lawrence J. McPherson, South Portland; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Corliss Street Baptist Church, Bath, the Rev. Harold L. Allen officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath.
