Obituary:  The Times Transcript (Moncton, NB), Monday, 31 May 1976:  The death of Arthur Pitre of St. Paul, Kent County occurred Saturday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital after a long illness.  Born in Chelsea, Mass., in 1889, he was a son of the late Albert and Madelaine (Bernard) Pitre and was a retired barber.  He attended St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.  His first wife: the former Virginie Richard died in 1965.  He is survived by his second wife, the former Emma Cormier; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Roy of Leominster, Mass., Mrs. Eddie Collette (Claira) of Moncton, Mrs. Livie Robichaud (Doris) of Gardner, Mass., and Mrs. Nora Richard of Leominster; one son, Edmond of Judith, Nova Scotia; four sisters, Mrs. Geremi Arsenault (Mamie) of Mount Carmel, Prince Edward Island, Mrs. Eleanor Arsenault of Lewisville, Mrs. Susie Spencer of Moncton and Mrs. Laudia Leger of Shediac; two brothers, Gilbert of Coal Branch and Antoine of Canaan Station.  Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  The body will rest at Frenette's funeral home, with funeral mass to be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Obituary:  The Moncton Transcript (Moncton, NB), Wednesday, 15 September 1965:  Funeral mass for Mrs. Arthur Pitre of St. Paul, Kent County was celebrated recently at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church by Rev. Eugene Lafitte.  Pallbearers were Emery Robichaud, Basil Belliveau, Jaddus Pellerin, Alyre Belliveau, Jean-Marie Melanson, and Roger Richard.  Among friends and relatives attending the funeral from out of the area were Alphonse Pitre and George Pitre, Waltham, Mass.; Mr. and Mrs. Ovilla Roy and Mr. and Mrs. Marc Richard, of Leominster, Mass.; Mrs. Lenie Robichaud, Gardner, Mass.; Edmond Pitre, Cape Breton, N.S.; and others from Moncton, Harcourt and surrounding areas.

Marie Helene Pitre:  L'Acadie Nouvelle (Caraquet, NB), Friday, 6 November 2009:  Helene Roy, 1920-2009 (photo): At the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Thursday, November 5, 2009, at the age of 89, Helene Roy passed away after a brief illness.  She was the wife of the late Ovila Roy (1998).  She resided in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, but was formerly from Bouctouche, born in Saint-Paul-de-Kent; she was the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Virginie (Richard) Pitre.  She is survived by two daughters: Lorraine Richard (Jean-Paul) of Shirley, Mass., and Maria Fearon (Leandre) of Raleigh, South Carolina; two sons: Emery (Louise) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent and Gerard (Therese) of Westford, Mass., as well as two sisters: Doris Robichaud and Nora Richard of Gardner, Mass.  One son, Robert (2005), a sister, Clara, and a brother, Edmond, preceded her in death.  Visiting hours will be held starting at 2 PM on Sunday, November 8, at the Maillet Funeral Home in Bouctouche.  The funeral will take place at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church in Bouctouche on Monday, November 9, at 11 AM.  The burial will be at the Saint-Paul-de-Kent cemetery.  Visiting hours: Sunday, November 8, from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 7 PM to 9 PM, and Monday, November 9, from 9 AM to 10:45 AM.  In memory of Helene, donations can be made to the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital (palliative care).  The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Maillet Funeral Home in Bouctouche.

 

Marie Claira Pitre:  The Times Transcript (Moncton, NB), Wednesday, 7 January 1981:  St. Paul - Clara Collette, 59, wife of Eddy Collette of St. Paul, died Tuesday at her home after a brief illness.  Born in St. Paul, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Virginie (Richard) Pitre.  She is survived by her husband; two sons, Francis, Buctouche and Richard, Dieppe; three daughters, Mrs. Bill Castle (Lorraine), Medford, Mass., Mrs. Jean-Marie Melanson (Anna), Moncton and Mrs. Reginald Leger (Patsy), Inidan Mountain; a brother, Edmond, Cape Breton Island, N.S.; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Richard and Mrs. Helene Roy, both of Leominster, Mass., and Mrs. Levi Robichaud (Dorice), Gardner, Mass.; and five grandchildren.  The body is at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church from where the funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m.  Entombment will be in the parish cemetery vault to await interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.  Maillet's Funeral Home, Buctouche, is in charge of arrangements.

 

Marie Dorisse Pitre:  Boucher Funeral Home (MA):  Doris Robichaud, May 18, 1922 - December 9, 2017:  Doris (Pitre) Robichaud, 95, of Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, December 9, 2017 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner following a brief illness, surrounded by her family.  Born in St. Paul, N.B. Canada on May 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Virginie (Richard) Pitre.  Doris was last employed as a Home Care Worker by Catholic Charities for 15 years, retiring in 1991.  She was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.  Doris was a talented crafter who had a passion for oil painting, quilting and crocheting.  She also enjoyed traveling, playing cards and dining out.  She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, Levi J. Robichaud, who died January 8, 1994.  Doris leaves three daughters, Gloria M. Hakala of Gardner, Claudette Borey of Baldwinville, and Pauline Michalewicz and her husband Gary of Winchendon; sister-in-law, Aurore Cormier of Minto, N.B. Canada; four grandchildren, Chad Hakala, Aaron Borey, Heath Borey and Sara Michalewicz.  She was predeceased by her grandson, Durrand Michalewicz who died July 20, 2017; one brother, Edmond Pitre; three sisters, Helene Roy, Eleonore Fleck and Clara Collette.  Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 14th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.  Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.  A calling hour will be held Thursday, December 14th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.  In honor of her grandson Durrand, memorial contributions may be made to Heywood Hospital Suicide Prevention Program c/o Heywood Healthcare Philanthropy Department,Gardner, MA.
