Jones, Mrs. Cora Boudreaux, Mrs. Elbe Pitre and Mrs. Irwin Savoie, aged 66 years.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place from the late residence, Cut Off, La., on Tuesday, February 28, 1950, at 8 o'clock a.m.  Services at Sacred Heart Catholic church, Cut Off, La.  Interment in Sacred Heart Catholic cemetery.  Falgout funeral home, Galliano, La., in charge.

Pitre, 84, died Monday, March 2 at Mainland Center Hospital in Texas City.  Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Michael's Episcopal Church of La Marque, the Rev. Gordon Gudger officiating.  Burial will follow in Grace Memorial Cemetery in Hitchcock.  Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Wednesday at James Crowder Funeral Home of La Marque.  Mr. Pitre was born Nov. 15, 1902 in Cut-Off, La.  He was a retired pipefitter, a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, of Sons of Herman in Galveston, and of Pipefitters Local No. 211.  Survivors include his wife, Beatrice A. Pitre of La Marque; a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack W. 'Iris' Pitre Blankenship of Texas City; a son, George J. Pitre of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Angell McGee, Nola Savory and Louise Pitre, all of Cut-Off; a brother, Frank Pitre of Houma, La.; a sister-in-law, Georgia Junemann of La Marque; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Pallbearers will be Abdon Norris, David Norris, Charles Welch Sr., Marcus Junemann, John Junemann and Ernest Junemann.

Angelle Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet, 19 May 1992:  A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Angelle Pitre McGee, 84, a native and resident of Cut Off, who died at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday.  Interment was in the church cemetery.  She was the mother of Claudette David.  She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, W. C. Claude McGee; parents, Ella Pierce and Augustin Pitre; four brothers and three sisters.  Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano was in charge of arrangements.  Correction in a death notice for Angelle McGee in Wednesday's Daily Comet the names of McGee's sisters, Nola Savoie and Louise Pitre, were omitted from information provided by the funeral home.

 

Armida Mary Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 19 October 1982:  Armida Mary Pitre, 73, a native and resident of Cut Off, died 11:35 p.m. Monday (18th).  Survivors include two brothers, J.C. and Frank Pitre; and three sisters, Angelle McGee, Louise Pitre and Nola Savoie.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Augustin and Ella Marie Pierce Pitre; two brothers, Louis and Harry Pitre; and two sisters, Leona Jones and Cora Boudreaux.  Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is handling the arrangements.

Leona Pitre:  Houma Courier (LA), Wednesday, 19 August 1981:  Leona Pitre Jones, 65 years and a resident of Cut Off, died 4:30 a.m. Tuesday in Galliano.  The funeral was held this morning at 9:30 with religious services at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  Survivors include two sons, Kenneth and Wayne Jones; one daughter, Miss Terry Jones; two brothers, Frank and Gene Pitre; four sisters, Mrs. Nola Savoie, Mrs. Angelle McGee, Miss Arminda Pitre and Mrs. Louise Pitre and five grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Jones; and one brother, Harris Pitre.

Louise Ann Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Louise "China" Pitre, 77, a native and resident of Cut Off, who died at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 29 (1993).  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  There will be no visitation.  She was the mother of Alfred Pitre of Lafayette and Ella Marie Squyres of Overland Park, Kan.; sister of Nola Savoie of Cut Off.  She is also survived by three grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustine and Ella Pierce Pitre; four brothers, J.C., Harry, Frank and Louis Pitre; and four sisters, Cora Boudreaux, Angelle McGee, Leona Jones and Armida Pitre.  She served as a nurse in the armed forces and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
 

Nola Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet:  Nola Pitre Savoie, age 87, a native and resident of Cut Off, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007.  Funeral services today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, with burial in the church cemetery.  Survived by one son, Philip Savoie; one daughter, Mary S. Chiasson; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Savoie; her parents, Augustin and Ella Pierce Pitre; four brothers, Jean, Frank, Harry and Louis Pitre; and five sisters, Cora Boudreaux, Angelle McGee, Armida Pitre, Leona Jones and Louise Pitre.  Parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Falgout Funeral Home.
