Angelle Pitre: Lafourche Daily Comet, 19 May 1992: A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Angelle Pitre McGee, 84, a native and resident of Cut Off, who died at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday. Interment was in the church cemetery. She was the mother of Claudette David. She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. C. Claude McGee; parents, Ella Pierce and Augustin Pitre; four brothers and three sisters. Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano was in charge of arrangements. Correction in a death notice for Angelle McGee in Wednesday's Daily Comet the names of McGee's sisters, Nola Savoie and Louise Pitre, were omitted from information provided by the funeral home.

of Overland Park, Kan.; sister of Nola Savoie of Cut Off. She
is also survived by three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents, Augustine and Ella Pierce Pitre; four brothers, J.C., Harry,
Frank and Louis Pitre; and four sisters, Cora Boudreaux, Angelle McGee,
Leona Jones and Armida Pitre. She served as a nurse in the armed
forces and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Falgout Funeral
