Elaine C. Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), Friday, 15 October 2010:  Elaine Pitre Ayo, 70, a resident of Houma and Cut Off, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010.  Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Maria Immaculata Catholic Church.  She is survived by her son, David Ayo and wife, Melissa, of Breaux Bridge; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Quebedeaux and Jackie Haynes.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank H. Pitre and Catherine Giroir Pitre; and her husband, Louis J. Ayo.  Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Linda Pitre:  The Advocate (Baton Rouge, LA), Friday, 28 November 2008:   Linda Pitre Quebedeaux.  A resident of Morgan City, she passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 in Morgan City.  She was 66, born in Houma on Nov. 29, 1941.  Linda will always be remembered as a very loving wife and mother.  She loved her family and was happiest when taking care of their needs.  The sacrifice of doing for others was her true joy.  Linda will be sadly missed by all those who loved this wonderful lady.  She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, the St. Mary Parish AARP, and Teche Regional Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary.  Linda is survived by her husband, Jimmy Quebedeaux, of Morgan City; three children, Robert Quebedeaux and wife Pamela, of Labadieville, Melanie and husband Wayne Lemonier, of New Orleans, and Timothy Quebedeaux, of Morgan City.  Linda is also survived by her four grandchildren, Matthew Quebedeaux, Luke Lemonier, Lauren Lemonier and Marcus Bascle.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Kate Pitre.  A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed Saturday, Nov. 29, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Morgan City, from 9 a.m. until Mass at 11 a.m.  Linda will be laid to rest in the St. Francis Mausoleum.  Arrangements by Hargrave Funeral Home, Morgan City.
