Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 24 January 1981:  Harry (Roro) Luke Pitre, at Raceland, La., on Saturday, January 24, 1981, at 3:40 a.m., beloved husband of Leocade Cheramie Pitre, father of Mrs. Jack D. (Helen) Mouton and Margaret Pitre; brother of Frank and Jean Pitre, Mrs. Angelle McGee, Mrs. Louise Pitre, Mrs. Nola Savoie, Mrs. Leona Jones, and Miss Armida Pitre, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Augustine Pitre; also survived by 2 grandchildren, age 70 years, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Larose, La.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Falgout Funeral Home Inc., Galliano, La., on Monday, January 26, 1981 at 10:30 a.m.  Religious services at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, La., at 11 o'clock a.m.  Interment Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum.  Friends may call after 10 a.m. on Sunday.  Falgout Funeral Home Inc. in charge.

Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  A religious service took place Saturday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow for Leocade "Lucky" Cheramie Pitre, 85, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Lafayette, who died at 6:45 p.m. Thursday (4 June 1992).  Interment was in the church Cemetery.  She was the mother of Helen Mouton and Margaret Ostteen; sister of Alie Pitre.  She is also survived by three grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Pitre; parents, Julie and Julien Cheramie; brothers, Amay, Nolta, Walter, Jackson, Paris and Harris Cheramie; and sisters, Florida, Cleonise and Eureka Cheramie.  Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano was in charge of arrangements.

Helen Pitre:  Funeral Services will be held at a 11:00AM on Monday, August 14, 2017 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Helen Pitre Mouton, 69, who passed away on August 12, 2017.  Burial will take place in St. John Mausoleum.  Helen, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Harry Luke Pitre and Leocade Cheramie Pitre.  Helen was a graduate of U.S.L. receiving her Bachelors of Science degree in Education and taught in Lafayette Parish Schools for over 35 years.  Helen had a wonderful sense of humor and was full of life.  She enjoyed good food, reading and spending time with her family and friends.  Helen was a beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother and a friend to many and she will be dearly missed.  She is survived by her children, Melanie Mouton, Ryan Mouton and wife Amy Comeaux Mouton; grandchildren, Annaclaire Zerangue and Carter Mouton; sister Margaret Pitre Ostteen; brother-in-law, Larry Ostteen; nephew, Luke Ostteen; brothers-in-law, Kenneth and wife Jeanne Mouton, Russell Mouton; and sister-in-law, Alva Jane Mouton.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jack D. Mouton, her parents; brother-in-law, J. Carrol Mouton; and sister-in-law, Geraldine Mouton.
