Zoe Veronique Pitre: Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), May 1995: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow for Zoe Pitre Eserman, 100, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Golden Meadow, who died at 11:40 p.m. Monday, May 15 (1995). Visitation will be 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off. She was the mother of Irby Roy and Steve Eserman Jr. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Henry Eserman; parents, David and Josephine Pitre; a daughter, Gloria Eserman Duet; a stepson, Clifton Eserman Jr.; and 11 brothers and sisters. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor. Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
