Obituary:  Detroit Free Press (MI), Tuesday, 28 August 1923:  Monroe, Mich., Aug. 27 - The funeral of Albert Pete, 50 years old, Erie fisherman, who died from gas asphyxiation in a motor boat while on Lake Erie last Thursday will be held Wednesday morning from St. Joseph's church in the village of Erie, 12 miles south of here.  Harvey Monimee, 28 years old, companion of Pete, is in critical condition at his home in Erie township.  He was burned in the explosion.

Beulah Frances Pete:  The Huntsville Times (Huntsville, AL), Thursday, 19 May 1983:  Woodville - Mrs. Beulah Frances Babcock, 77, of Woodville, died Wednesday at Huntsville Hospital.  The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church in Scottsboro with the Rev. Liam Sullivan officiating.  The body will be cremated.  Survivors include her husband, Harold Babcock; two sons, Gene Burgard and James Babcock, both of South Gates, Mich.; three daughters, Mrs. Janet Owens, Mrs. Judith Bergman, both of Sandusky, Ohio, and Mrs. Donna Nieronymi of Huntsville; two brothers, Russell Pete and Floyd Pete, both of Houghton Lake, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Neomi Lindy of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. Ethel Schulier of Holiday, Fla.; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the local heart fund.

Naomi Helen Pete:  The Journal Gazette (Fort Wayne, IN), Saturday, 7 May 2011:  Naomi Helen Lindly, 95, of Terre Haute, formerly of Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011, 4:10 a.m., at Sisters of Providence Healthcare Center.  She was born on Dec. 28, 1915, in Erie, Mich.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Indianapolis.  She had participated in various bowling leagues in Fort Wayne and loved to fish.  She previously ran a day care business out of her home in Fort Wayne.  She is survived by her daughter, Sister Carol Lindly of Terre Haute.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Madison Lindly Sr.; and son, Richard Madison Lindly Jr.  Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Church of the Immaculate Conception in St. Mary-of-the-Woods, with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday.  Father Dan Hopcus officiating.  Burial is Wednesday, May 11, 2011, in the Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.  Arrangements by Callahan- DeBaun Funeral Home, Terre Haute, IN.
