Notes for Theodore Bourg:

- Theodore Bourg was born about 1746 in Acadia.  During the upheavals of the deportations, Theodore's parents probably died along with other siblings.  On 23rd January 1759, Theodore Bourg and his sister Marie landed at St. Malo from one of the "Five Ships".   They lived in the parish of Pleslin until Marie's death in 1762.  Theodore then moved on to St. Coulomb where he married Anne Granger in 1764.  Anne was about 15 years his senior and a recent widow.  (Her first husband Pierre Bonniere had died a year earlier in an English prison.)  Anne had already born 5 children, 2 of whom had died.  (Quite probably the other 3 died young as none of them show up on the passenger lists for the ships which sailed to LA in 1785.)  They had 4 more children in that intervening 10 years and on 27 June 1785 they boarded Le Saint Remi and arrived in Louisiana on 10 September 1785.  They were listed as Theodore Bourg, carpenter, 39; Anne Granger 54, Theodore 14, Anne 19, and Magdelaine 17.  They settled in Lafourche where they farmed a 6 arpent tract.

- 1 January 1788 Lafourche census: Theodore Bourg 41, Anne Grangee 56, Anne 22, Magdelienne 20, Theodore 16; 6 arpents, 30 quarts of corn, 4 swine.

- 1 January 1791 Lafourche des Chetimachas census: Theodore Bourg 45, Anne Grange 60, Anne 25, Theodore 20; 6 arpents, 150 quarts of corn, 4 cattle, 4 horses, 15 swine.

- December 1795 Bayou de Valenzuela census: Theodoro Bourque 50, Ana Granger 68.

- 10 April 1797 Valenzuela in Lafourche census: Theodore Bourg 51, Anne Grange 69.

- 1 January 1798 Lafourche census: Theodore Bourg 52, Anne 69; 6 arpents.

1810 Lafourche census: Theodore Bourg living with son Theodore.

- 30 April 1810:  Succession

Notes for Anne Granger:

- First husband Pierre Bonniere was born Abt. 1731 in Acadia, and died 11 April 1763 in an English prison.  They were married Abt. 1752 on Ile St. Jean.

- In 1752, Pierre Bonniere and Anne Granger were on St. Pierre du Nord, Ile St. Jean.  The couple and daughters Marie & Marie Jacquemine arrived at St. Malo from Boulogne in 1762.  They lived in St. Servan, then moved to St. Coulomb in 1763.
