Raoul Pierre Pitre: Lafourche Daily Comet (Thibodaux, LA), Thursday, 9 January 1947: Raoul L. Pitre, aged 65 years, was buried here Friday, December 27. He died at St. Joseph Hospital, December 26. His home was in Lafourche Crossing. Surviving him are his wife Annette Soignet Pitre and three children, Clay, Walter and Raoul Jr. Funeral services were held from St. Joseph Catholic church with interment in St. Joseph cemetery. Chauvin and Thibodeaux funeral home was in charge.
Scholastique Annette Pitre: The Courier (Houma, LA), Tuesday, 1 May 1973: Mrs. Annette Pitre Zeringue, an 82-year-old resident of 1531 West Park Ave., died at Terrebonne General Hospital today, May 1 at 12:50 a.m. She is survived by her husband Alphonse Zeringue and children Simon Zeringue of Raceland, Norman Zeringue of Boutte, Raymond, Alphonse Jr. and Clifton Zeringue, all of Houma, Mrs. Hyman Bourgeois of Golden Meadow, Mrs. Joseph Olles of Thibodaux, Mrs. Raymond Moore and Mrs. Sam Ayo, both of Houma. She is also survived by 50 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Ernest Zeringue. Services will be held Wednesday, May 2 at 10 a.m. from Maria Immacolata Catholic Church, with interment in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Thibodaux.
