Raoul J. Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 3 March 1993:  A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux for Raoul Pierce "Black" Pitre, 78, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Thibodaux, who died at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 3.  Interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery.  He was the husband of Florence Roger Pitre; father of Carolyn Stilts.  He is also survived by two grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Raoul and Annette Soignet Pitre; two brothers, Clay and Walter Pitre; and a sister, Anastacia Theriot.  Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland was in charge of the arrangements.

Pitre, 69, a native and resident of Thibodaux, who died today at 3:15 a.m.  He is survived by his wife, Marion H. Pitre; and a brother, Raoul Pitre.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Raoul and Annette S. Pitre; a brother, Clay Pitre; and sisters, Agatha P. Theriot and Bernice Pitre.  Visitation is scheduled from 9-11 a.m. Friday at the church.  Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.  Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
