John Alfred Peters:  Boston Globe (MA), Wednesday, 29 August 1945:  Peters - In Arlington, Aug. 28, John A. Peters, beloved husband of Anna B. (Macauly) Peters.  Funeral from the residence, 9 Robbins road, Friday at 8 a.m.  Requiem High Mass at St. James' Church at 9 a.m.  Relatives and friends are invited.  Please omit flowers.

 

Fidelis 'Phillip Joseph' Peters:  Patriot Ledger (Quincy, MA), Monday, 8 August 1960:  Phillip J. Peters.  Holbrook - Phillip J. Peters, 86, of 48 Water Street, died at a Brockton hospital Saturday after a long illness.  He was the husband of Harriet (Hough) Peters.  Born in Prince Edward Island, N.S., Mr. Peters had lived in Holbrook for the past 17 years.  He was a retired New Haven Railroad worker.  In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Stanley Peters of Wrentham and Harold Peters of Hollywood, Fla., a daughter, Mrs. Mary Stacqualursi of Brockton; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  The funeral will leave the Cartwright Funeral Home, Holbrook, at 8:15 o'clock, tomorrow morning, to be followed by a high mass of requiem at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's Church, Holbrook.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Holbrook.  Visiting hours at the funeral home will be this evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
