Obituary: Patriot Ledger (Quincy, MA), Monday, 8 August 1960: Phillip J. Peters. Holbrook - Phillip J. Peters, 86, of 48 Water Street, died at a Brockton hospital Saturday after a long illness. He was the husband of Harriet (Hough) Peters. Born in Prince Edward Island, N.S., Mr. Peters had lived in Holbrook for the past 17 years. He was a retired New Haven Railroad worker. In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Stanley Peters of Wrentham and Harold Peters of Hollywood, Fla., a daughter, Mrs. Mary Stacqualursi of Brockton; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will leave the Cartwright Funeral Home, Holbrook, at 8:15 o'clock, tomorrow morning, to be followed by a high mass of requiem at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's Church, Holbrook. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Holbrook. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be this evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.

Mary Adeline Peters: The Enterprise (Brockton, MA), Tuesday, 19 March 2013: Brockton - Mary A. (Peters) Stracqualursi, 92 years old, formerly of 28 Crosby Road Brockton, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Baypointe Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton. Born September 13, 1920 in Winchendon MA, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Harriet Peters. The wife of the late John Stracqualursi and the mother of four children: Joseph Conlon and Stanley Conlon (both deceased), and Lisa Stephansky and David Stracqualursi. Mary's grandchildren include: Albert Stevens; Joseph (Joey) Conlon; Stanley (Yogi) Conlon; Julie (Conlon) Babington; Vickie Conlon; Gabriella Stracqualursi; Vincent Stracqualursi; Christian Stracqualursi and numerous great-grandchildren. Mary and her late husband John Stracqualursi owned and operated Great Elm Green Houses for many years. Mary enjoyed working with flowers; cooking and throwing great parties with lots of food. Most of all Mary loved her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Private Family services were held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home with interment in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
