McKinnon, Mrs. Neil MacDonnell, Sister St. Wenceslaus of Providence, R.I., and Edwin, Victor, and Mrs. Chester McGaugh of P.E.I.  Residence 24 Colbert St.  Funeral from the Frederic J. Lorne Joseph Peters:  Boston Herald (MA), Saturday, 18 August 1956:  Services today for Lorne Peters of Boston Mutual - Services for Lorne J. Peters, 58, of 8 Alarie St., West Roxbury, agencies sales director for the Boston Mutual Life Insurance Co., will be held today with a 9 a.m. mass at St. Theresa's Church.  Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.  Mr. Peters, who died Thursday at his home, was born in Prince Edward Island.  He entered the insurance business in the Boston Mutual in 1923, as a field man.  He subsequently served as assistant manager in Salem and as district manager in Pawtucket, R.I.  Prior to becoming agencies sales director, in 1954, he was assistant superintendent of agencies.  He was a member of the Holy Name Society.  He leaves his wife, Mrs. Winifred Welch Peters; a daughter, Mrs. Francis Gorham of Portland; a son, James G. of Quincy; two brothers, Edwin and Victor, both of Prince Edward Island; and four sisters, Mrs. Adeline Fisher, Mrs. Zetta McDonald and Mrs. Geraldine McDonnell, all of West Roxbury, and Sister St. Wenceslaus of Chicago.

   

Henriette Mary Peters:  The News Times (Danbury, CT), Sunday, 14 August 1977:  Sister Mary H. Peters C.N.D. of the Congregation of Notre Dame Convent, 223 W. Mountain Road, Ridgefield, died at Danbury Hospital Friday after a brief illness.  Born in Rollo Bay, Prince Edward Island, Canada, Aug. 10, 1899, daughter of the late Frederick and Susan MacDonald Peters, she was professed in 1922 in Montreal, Can.  Sister Peters was a schoolteacher in Providence, R.I. and Chicago for about 45 years.  She is survived by two brothers, Edwin and Victor Peters, both of Prince Edward Island; and four sisters, Mrs. Adeline Fisher, Mrs. Zetta MacDonnell, Mrs. Frances McGough and Mrs. Geraldine McKinnon, all of the Boston area.  Funeral services will be at the Congregation of Notre Dame Convent tomorrow at 5 p.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by the Rev. George Birge.  Friends may call at the convent this evening from 7 to 10 and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m.  Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Danbury, on Tuesday.  The Cornell Memorial Home, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.

 

Sarah Ellen Peters:  Boston Globe (MA), Saturday, 14 July 2007:  MacDonnell, Sara "Zetta" Ellen (Peters) - at the age of 105.  Sister of Geraldine (Peters) McKinnon formerly of Dedham in Medfield, Aunt to many generations of nieces and nephews including Marie T. Lee of Attleboro, MA, as well as a Great Aunt to great nieces and nephews.  Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 105 Stanley Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.  Burial in St. Josephs Cemetery, West Roxbury.  Visitation on Sunday from 3:00-5:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro.

2007: MACDONNELL - Sara Helen "Zetta" (Peters) of Attleboro Mass. And formerly of Boston, on July 11th at age 105.  Wife of the late Neil MacDonnell.  Born in PEI, the daughter of the late Frederick and Susan (MacDonald) Peters.
 

Frances Edna PetersThe Toronto Star (Toronto, ONT), Thursday, 6 October 1988:  McGaugh, Frances (nee Peters) - At North York General Hospital on Tuesday, October 4, 1988, at the age of 84, Frances, loving wife of the late Chester.  Loving mother of Susanne Allen (Hamilton), Tom and his wife Doris (Ottawa), Zita Gallant (Downsview), Margaret Lemieux (Montreal) and her husband Andy, and Earl and his wife Emma (P.E.I.).  Lovingly remembered by 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Geraldine McKinnon, Zetta MacDonnell (both in the U.S.A.) and Victor Peters (P.E.I.), predeceased by Lorne Peters, Adeline Fisher, Sister Mary Peters and Edwin Peters.  Friends may call at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home from Thursday 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Mass Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Cummer Lodge Chapel followed by cremation.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cummer Lodge or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
