Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 27 June 1956 - At the residence, Golden Meadow, La., on Monday, June 25, 1956, at 9:15 o'clock p.m., Voltaire Pitre, beloved husband of the late Laura Toups, father of Dumas, Sidney and Romela Pitre, Mrs. Horace Dantin and Mrs. Francis Bergeron, survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, aged 76 years.  Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the Ladies' Altar Society, members of W.O.W. Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA):  Funeral services were held at noon today at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church for Dumacia Pitre Dantin, 81, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, who died at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday (3 July 1990).   Interment is in the church cemetery.  She was the mother of Geraldine D. Borque; step-mother of Victoria Small and Earline Wasko; foster mother of Easton J. Pitre and sister of Romela Anselmi and Annie Bergeron.  She is also survived by four grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Dantin; parents, Voltaire J. Pitre and Laura Pauline Toups; brothers, Manual, Dumas and Sidney Pitre and sisters, Zoe Pitre and Ozemia Williams.  Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, is in charge of arrangements.

Bergeron.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Anselmi; parents, Laura Toups and Voltaire Pitre; brothers, Dumas, Emanuel and Sidney Pitre; sisters, Zoe Pitre, Ozumia Williams and Dumacia Dantin.  Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano was in charge of arrangements.
