Eugenie 'Gertrude' Pitre:  Beaumont Journal (Beaumont, TX), Thursday, 6 May 1976:  Daisetta - Funeral for Gertrude Geisendorff, 83, was to be at 10:30 a.m. today in First Christian Church with burial in Fairlawn Cemetery in Liberty under direction of Allison Funeral Home of Liberty.  Mrs. Geisendorff died at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday in a Pasadena hospital following a sudden illness.  A native of Whiteville, La., she had lived in Daisetta 55 years.  Survivors include two sons, A. Lyle Geisendorff Jr. of Anahuac and William R. Geisendorff of Daisetta, and one daughter, Mrs. Charles L. Budd of Pasadena.

Julius Jennings Pitre:  San Jose Mercury (San Jose, CA), Friday, 1 July 1966:  Private funeral services have been held for Jennings Julius Pitre, 69, a lithotype operator for 59 years, who died Wednesday at 5 Oak St. after a sudden illness.  A native of Louisiana, Pitre made his home at 1206 Curtis Ave.  He had lived in the county for six years and was last employed by the Globe Printing Co. of San Jose.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian Pitre of San Jose.  Private inurnment in Oak Hill Memorial Park followed services.
