Misc.:  Duluth News Tribune (MN), Tuesday, 6 May 1913:  Blind Pigger, Missing two years, caught:  Red Lake Falls, Minn., May 5 - Pierre Lajambe, who was indicted by the Red Lake county grand jury two years ago for blind pigging and had been a fugitive from justice since that time, was captured in Wisconsin, where he was living on a farm, by Fred Cyr, chief of police.  Lajambe was taken before Judge Watts at Crookston, where he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to pay a fine of $150 and costs amounting to $180 or spend 90 days in the county jail.  He paid his fine and the costs and has returned to his Wisconsin farm.  The offense with which Lajambe was charged was the selling of liquor at Brooks at a time when the town was presumed to be "dry."

Obituaries for the children:

Joseph Gaspard Lajambe:  The Minneapolis Journal (Minneapolis, MN), Wednesday, 17th November 1937:  Car Skids on Icy Road, Kills Driver - Crookston, Minn., Nov. 17 - Gaspard Lajamb, 56, farmer and stock buyer near Oklee, was killed when his car skidded on an icy highway seven miles north of Gully, in eastern Polk county.  His death was the eleventh automobile fatality in Polk county in 1937.

Bernadette Lajambe:  Great Falls Tribune (Great Falls, MT), Saturday, 18 June 1977:  Mrs. Louis (Bernadette R.) Miller, 82, 2720 2nd Ave. N., died Friday morning in a local convalescent hospital.  She had been in poor health about seven years.  The funeral will be Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Gerard's Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under direction of Croxford & Sons Funeral Home.  Mrs. Miller's husband died last month in Helena.  She was born in Windsor, Minn., and married Simon Brennan in Thief River Falls, Minn.  She and her second husband, Delos Douglas, whom she married in 1920, came to Great Falls in 1931.  He died in 1939 and four years later she married Miller.  During World War II Mrs. Miller worked as a first aid attendant at Mike Horse Mine near Lincoln.  Her only surviving relatives are a son, Ray J. Brennan, and grandson, Rod J. Brennan, both of Great Falls.
