Obituaries for the children:

Joseph Theodore Pitre:  29 March 1984:  The death of Theodore Pitre, Beresford, occurred March 29 at Chaleur General Hospital at the age of 89.  He was the last surviving member of his family.  Born in Beresford, Mr. Pitre was a son of Peter and Elizabeth (Doucet) Pitre.  Besides his wife Hilda (DeGrace), Mr. Pitre is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edward McIntosh (Lydia), Sept Iles, Quebec; Mrs. Emery Vienneau (Ida), Beresford; and Mrs. Lucien Duguay (Leona), Hamilton, Ont.; seven sons Ernest, Beresford; Edmond, Ontario; and Gerard, Arthur, Leonard, Leofred all of Beresford and Telesphore, Toronto; 55 grandchildren and 68 great-grandchildren.  The remains rested at Verret's Funeral Home, Nigadoo.  Funeral mass was celebrated April 2, at St. Nom de Jesus Church.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery later in the spring.

 

Marie Ethelreda 'Adesilan' Pitre:  The Northern Light (NB), 20 February 1980:  Pierre Doucet (Mrs.) of Robertville died February 14, 1980 at age 80, born in Robertville Desilla Pitre (Pierre Pitre and Elisabeth Doucet).  One son Emerile of Robertville; nine daughters: Adelia (Gilbert Frenette), Leona (Lucien Hache), Doris (Jim Richard), all of Boston; Mrs. Violette Landry of Beresford, Ida (Hector Hache) of Montreal, Imelda (Aurele Morais) of Dunlop; Marianne (Richard Frenette) of Kapuskasing, Ont., Claudia (William Daigle) and Lovina (Gerard Lagace) both from Robertville.  One sister Berthilde (Sam Frenette) of Beresford, and one brother Theodore of Beresford; 75 grandchildren, 109 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.  Funeral in Robertville.
