On 3 January 2006, died at the Centre de santé et de services sociaux de Chicoutimi, Pavillon St. Vallier, at the age of 77 years and 10 months, Mr. Alcide Pitre, husband of first wife the late Mrs. Gertrude Albert and second wife Mrs. Aline Gauthier, sons of the late Joseph Pitre and the late Mrs. Delima Jean, residing at rue des Epinettes in Jonquière. The family will host relatives and friends to count Thursday 5 January 2006 at the funeral home Nault & Caron, Jonquière. Reception hours are: Thursday 5 January 2006 7-10 p.m. and Friday 6 January 2006 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2006, the day of the funeral, the funeral home will open from 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2006 11:30 a.m. at St. Raphael Church of Jonquière. Harmel Pitre: Elhatton’s Funeral Home (Bathurst, NB): Harmel Pitre (photo) 1935 - 2016: At the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, on Friday, February 12, 2016, at the age of 80, passed away Harmel Pitre, he lived in Beresford. Born in Beresford, he was the son of the late Joseph Pitre and the late Rose Delima Jean. He is survived by four children: Carole Roy (Rhéal) of Petit-Rocher, Jean-Guy and Greg (Angela Manuel) both of Bathurst and Gary (Mala Whelan) of Toronto, Ont. Five grandchildren. One brother, Patrice Pitre (Julienne Lagacy) of Beresford. Five sisters: Irene DeGrace of Beresford, Patsy Tremblay (Aurele), Angele Pilotte (Gilles), Lorraine Pitre and Yvette Pitre all of Chicoutimi, Que. The mother of his children, Anne Marie Frigault de Petit-Rocher. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Steve, three brothers, Theodore, Manuel, Alcide and one sister, Claudia. Visitation will be held at Beresford Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 starting at 6 p.m. from where a Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at 7 p.m.
Yvette Pitre: The 1st of July 2023, passed away
at the Jonquiere Hospital, at the age of 85 years, Madame Yvette Pitre,
wife of the late Michel Maltais, residing at Chicoutimi. She was
the daughter of the late Madame Rose-Delima Jean and the late Joseph Pitre.
The family will welcome relatives and friends Monday 10 July 2023 from 4-5 p.m.
at the Funeral Complex Carl Savard, Chicoutimi. The celebration of the
Word will take place Monday 10 July 2023 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Notre-Dame
de Grace. The cremation will take place at the crematorium of Funeral
Complex Carl Savard and the ashes interred in the cemetery of Sacre-Cœur.
She is also survived by her brother and her sisters: late Claudia (late Moise
Pitre), late Irene (late Alphonse Degrace), Patsy (Aurele Tremblay), Angela
(late Gilles Pilote), Lorraine, Patrice (Julie) and late Hermel. She also
leaves to mourn members of the Maltais family as well as several nephews and
nieces, relatives and friends. For those who wish, please send a donation
to the Alzheimer Society of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean.
