Obituary:  Kennebec Journal (Augusta, ME), Wednesday, 2 July 1919:  Patrick Peters, aged about 25 years, died Tuesday at his home on Parlin street.  He was a brother of Corp. Simon Peters, late of Co. E who was killed in action near Belleau Wood.  His parents survive.

- The Independent Reporter (Skowhegan, ME), Thursday, 3 July 1919:  The death of Patrick Peters occurred at the home of his parents on North avenue last Tuesday noon after a long illness.  He was born in Livermore Falls, June 19, 1892, the son of Andrew and Mary (Legere) Peters, both native of New Brunswick where they were married about 36 years ago.  Following their marriage the family came to Maine and settled in Skowhegan.  Of this union ten children were born, of whom five are living and five deceased.  Those living are Samuel A. Peters who is employed at Limerick and who served in the 10th Eng. Foresters overseas; Maxim Peters who married Miss Felixine Vachon and resides in Gardiner; Marguerite who is the wife of Elmer Turcotte and located in Gardiner; Ida the wife of Julian Geliveau of Skowhegan and Andrew aged eleven.  Those deceased are Corporal Simon Peters who was killed in action in France, July 23, 1918; Alfred Peters, Joseph Peters and Rosie Peters who died when they were very young.  Mr. Peters was married about three years ago last May to Miss Addie Goulette of Skowhegan.  They became the parents of two children Frances and William.  Prior to Mr. Peters illness since January, he was employed by the American Woolen Company.  The deceased is survived by his parents, wife and two children, also his brothers and sisters already mentioned.  The funeral services occur this (Thursday) morning at nine o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Renaud officiating.  Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery on North ave.

Obituary:  Morning Sentinel (Waterville, ME), Saturday, 14 March 1970:  Mrs. Adeline (Addie) Butler, 69, of 3 Birch Street died at a local hospital early Friday morning after a long illness.  She was born in Skowhegan Sept. 16, 1900, the daughter of Alexander and Mary Vigue Goulette.  A resident here for the past 35 years, she was a member of Sacred Heart Church.  She is survived by her husband, Alton Butler of Waterville; two sons, Francis Peters of Waterville and William Peters of Middletown, Conn.; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Guarino of Old Orchard Beach and Mrs. Thelma Vigue of Skowhegan; one step-daughter, Mrs. Beverly Christiansen of Falmouth; two sisters, Mrs. Annie White and Mrs. Eva Pomerleau of Skowhegan; one brother, George Goulette of Skowhegan; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church.  Relatives and friends may call at the J. Ovide Gallant Funeral Home.

Francis Joseph Peters:  Morning Sentinel (Waterville, ME), Tuesday, 31 October 1978:  Francis (Frank) J. Peters, 62, of 38 Maple St. died late Sunday evening at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Togus after a long illness.  He was born in Skowhegan Aug. 31, 1916, son of Taswell and Adeline (Goulet) Peters.  He was a member of the Forest J. Pare Post, VFW, and Bourque-Lanigan Post, American Legion.  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Carey) Peters; two sons, Maurice Peters of Anchorage, Alaska, and Michael Peters of North Carolina; two daughters, Mrs. James (Sheilla) Ratte of Fairfield and Mrs. Patricia Donlin of Waterville; two sisters, Thelma Vigue of Skowhegan, and Irene Guriano of Old Orchard Beach; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the J. Ovide Gallant Funeral Home.  Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

William David Peters:  Morning Sentinel (Waterville, ME), Monday, 14 November 1977:  Middletown, Conn. - William D. Peters, 59, of 738 Saybrook Road, husband of Eudora Brewer Peters, died Sunday morning at a Middletown hospital after a long illness.  He was born in Skowhegan, Maine, son of the late Patrick and Adeline Goulette Peters, and had resided in Middletown 19 years.  He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, the Elks Lodge and Club Voewarth.  He was the former owner of Howard's Service Station in Middletown.  Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie DeGray of Windsor, Conn., and Mrs. Joan Lavery of Manchester, Conn.; a brother, Francis Peters of Waterville, Maine; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Guarino of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, and Mrs. Thelma Vigue of Skowhegan, Maine, and four grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, Middletown, and at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church with a Mass of Christian Burial.  Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield, Conn.  Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
