Obituary:  Thibodaux Commercial Journal (LA), 22 January 1921 – Mrs. Leufroid Pitre, an aged resident of the fifth ward, died at her home last Saturday, following an illness of some weeks duration.  She’s survived by a number of children, grandchildren, and other relatives.  Her remains were interred in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery on Sunday morning, following services at the Catholic Church, the funeral being well attended.

Pitre Sr., and Mrs. Milton Bourgeois.  Also survived by 30 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.  All survivors from Donner area.  Age 79 years.  A native of Lafourche Parish and a resident of Donner at time of death.  Services from the Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux, on Saturday, June 15, at 10 a.m.  Religious services at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Chacahoula.  A retired employee of Southern Pacific Railroad.  Interment in the church cemetery.
