Obituary: The Newport Daily Express (Newport, VT), Wednesday, 31 March 1954: Mrs. John Willey - Rose Perry Willey was the daughter of Moses and Olive (Bouchard) Perry, born in Derby June 17, 1871, one of a family of 15 children. Her parents moved to Stanstead, Que., when she was quite young, where she lived for several years. She was married to Israel Lepete and four children were born to them: Verna (Mrs. Verna Woodman) of Claremont, N.H.; Benjamin of Attleboro, Mass.; and two sons who died several years ago. In 1919 they purchased a farm in Irasburg where they resided until the death of Mr. Lepete in 1939. Mrs. Lepete then went to Orleans to make her home. On March 22, 1947 she was married to John Willey, who survives her. Five years ago they moved to their present home in this village. The deceased had been in poor health for several years, but was able to be about until a short time ago when she became very ill and was taken to Broadview General hospital in Newport, where she passed away Saturday, March 20. Funeral services were held Monday, March 22, at St. Edward's Church in Derby Line with Rev. Fr. Armand Fortin officiating. Bearers were E. S. Perry of Brownington, M. R. Alexander, O. N. Washer and George Fortin of Irasburg; William Mitchell of Newport and Wilfred Wood of Derby. Entombment was at Derby Line and interment will be in Irasburg in the spring. Those from away to attend the funeral were Benjamin Lepete of Attleboro, Mass.; Mrs. Verna Woodman of Claremont, N.H.; Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Perry of Brownington and Mrs. Harold Lyons of Orleans.

Francois Xavier Lepitre: Orleans County Monitor (Barton, VT), Wednesday, 1 March 1933: Irasburg - Mr. and Mrs. L. Lapete received word yesterday of the sudden death of their eldest son, Frank Lapete, who was found dead in bed at his home in Chicopee, Mass. He leaves a wife and four children.
Agnes Verner Josephine Lapete: Valley News (West Lebanon, NH), Tuesday, 9 July 1985: Lebanon - Verna A. Woodman, 84, formerly of Fairview Avenue in Lebanon, died Sunday at the Hanover Terrace Healthcare. She was born in Canada on March 14, 1901, and had lived in Lebanon most of her life. She was the widow of Maurice Woodman, and had been employed in the dining room at the Hanover Inn for 47 years before retirement. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow morning at 9 at the Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Newport, Vt. Calling hours are this evening from 7 to 9 at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon.
John Alfred Lepitre: Springfield Union (Springfield, MA), Friday, 11 July 1947: W. Springfield - West Side Man is Heart Victim - John W. LaPete, 39, of 155 Ashley Ave., West Springfield was stricken with an attack of coronary thrombosis at 12:30 yesterday afternoon in Riverdale St., and died before West Springfield police could get him to Mercy Hospital. Dr. William A. R. Chapin, medical examiner for the Springfield-West Springfield district gave the cause of death. LaPete was a tiremaker employed by the Fisk Division of the U. S. Rubber Co. in Chicopee. He was a native of Stanstead, Can., and was born Aug. 31, 1907. Besides his wife, Lucy (Cherrier) LaPete, he leaves two sons, Stanley and Arnold; a daughter, Carol; his mother, Mrs. Rose LaPete; a brother, Benjamin; and a sister, Mrs. Verna Woodman of Winsor, Vt. The funeral will take place from the Curran-Jones funeral home at a time to be announced.
