Obituary: The Times Democrat (New Orleans, LA), Friday, 31 January 1913: Houma, La., Jan. 30 - Simeon Pitre, an old man, was found dead in bed at his residence in Daigleville, a suburb of Houma. He was seventy years old, and it is thought he died of apoplexy.
