Nelson Dennis Pitre:  The demise of Nelson Peters aged 27 at his home on First street on Tuesday is one of the sad things to be recorded.  A young wife with an infant son at her side born on Sunday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Johnson, where the mother also is ill, such is the affliction of this family as the young husband succumbed to Bright's disease.  The funeral occurred from the home yesterday in charge of Rev. J.E. McDonald and it was a heart broken company that followed the bier to Cherry Grove.  Nelson Peters is a native of Bay City.  He had not long been a resident of Clare when the dread disease laid him low.  Besides wife and son he leaves father, mother, four brothers and three sisters to mourn his departure.  There were present at funeral from Bay City father, mother, sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Thompson, sister, May, also brother, Henry from Detroit.  Much sympathy is expressed for the family.
