Obituary:  The Herald Press (St. Joseph, MI), Friday, 20 August 1926:  Detroit, Aug 20 - A cut on the wrist from a broken bowl, received several days ago, resulted in the death of Mrs. Vera Peters here last night.  Infection was the direct cause of death.

Ursal Marie Peters: Detroit Free Press (Detroit, MI), Sunday, 13 August 2000:  Zysk, Ursal M. (nee Peters), age 86, died August 9, 2000.  Beloved wife of the late Eugene W.; beloved and respected mother of Eugene (Audrey), Kenneth (Marti), Joyce (Stephen) Daher, Barbara (Dougles) Zysk-Berman, Linda (Lester) Hamann, William, and Josephine (Daniel) Thompson; also survived by 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  Pre-deceased by three children, Patricia, Elaine and Mary Ellen, two grandsons, Paul and Jacob, two sisters, Veronica Falls and Monica Agney and one brother, Dennis Slatterly.  Memorial Mass Saturday, August 19, 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 409 W. Columbia Blvd., Belleville, MI.  Donations to St. Anthony Church would be appreciated.  Arrangements by the Cremation Society of Michigan.

 

Veronica Catherine Peters:  Veronica Catherine Fall, 79, of Harrisville, died Sunday, June 2, 1996, at home.  Born Veronica Peters on July 5, 1916, in Bay City, she was raised there and lived in Taylor, Mich. from 1935 until 1978, when she moved to Harrisville.  Mrs. Fall retired from Ford Motor Company in 1978 after 31 years.  She is survived by four daughters, Carol Tait of Harrisville, Veronica Doty of Coldwater, Mich., Velma Wortinger of Ypsilanti, Mich. and Monica Glaze of Greenbush; one son, Edward Fall of Romulus, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one sister, Ursyel Zysk of Troy, Mich.  She was predeceased by a twin sister, Monica, and a step-brother, Dennis.  There will be a memorial Mass Saturday at noon at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Mikado.  The Rev. Lawrence Boks will officiate.  Arrangements for cremation were made through Gillies Funeral Home of Lincoln.
