MISC: The Boston Globe (Boston, MA), Thursday, 21 April 1910: Springfield, April 21 - By a decision of Judge Bosworth in police court yesterday, Joseph Lapete may continue to live in what is left of the dwelling house in Hampden which James E. Carmody of this city, the owner, started to tear down piecemeal. Judge Bosworth fined Carmody $20 on the charge of maliciously injuring real estate. He appealed the case. Lapete testified that he has a lease of the premises which does not expire until next year. Despite his lease the defendant, who recently bought the property, ordered him to move. On Lapete's refusal to budge Carmody removed the piazza, tore down the cupboards and demolished the kitchen wall and the roof, exposing the occupants to the weather.
- The Press (Stafford Springs, CT), Thursday, 11 May 1922: Stafford Springs - While backing a pair of horses down the hill on the dump on the Bissonnette lot on center street, Joseph LaPete nearly met with a serious accident when the wagon overturned throwing the horses to the bottom in a heap. Luckily LaPete leaped from the wagon in time. The horses were uninjured.

Obituary: Evening Gazette (Worcester, MA), Wednesday, 25 October 1939: Man Killed by Saw - Willimansett, Oct. 25 - Joseph La Pite, 59, was killed instantly yesterday when a heavy belt pulley broke and plunged him against a saw table in the Martineau woodyard.

Obituary: Springfield Republican (Springfield, MA), Wednesday, 23 January 1935: Holyoke - The funeral of Mrs. Marie Louise Lapite was held this morning at the home, 35 North Chicopee street, Willimansett, followed by high mass of requiem in the Nativity church, Rev. Omer Denomee was celebrant. The bearers were William Duguay, Arthur and Telline Crevier, Adrian Dupont, Simeon Gamelin and Walter Perreault. Burial was in St. Rose's cemetery.

Joseph Dore Lepitre: Springfield Union (MA), Saturday, 29 May 1965: Mr. LaPite rites - Chicopee - The funeral of Dore J. LaPite of 97 Rivers Ave., Willimansett, was held Friday at the C. Blais & Son funeral home, with a solemn high mass of requiem in the Church of the Nativity. Rev. Leon Sauvageau was celebrant. Rev. Leon Lussier, deacon, and Rev. Leo Fontaine, subdeacon. Bearers were Rudolph Courchesne, Robert Perreault, Arthur LaPite, Ernest and Edward Duguay and Richard Crevier. Burial was in St. Rose, conducted the service at the grave.
Arthur Alfred Lepitre: Springfield Republican (MA), Monday, 13 December 1937: Holyoke - Arthur LaPite, 34, of 38 North Chicopee street, Willimansett, died last night at his home. He had been employed at the Prew Coal company and had resided here for nine years. He formerly lived at Suncook, N.H. Besides his widow, Alice (Hutchinson) LaPite, he leaves a son, Arthur, Jr., a daughter, Lucille, both at home; his father, Joseph, and a brother, Dore, both of Willimansett. The funeral will be held at the Blais & Son funeral parlors Tuesday morning at 8:15 followed by solemn high mass of requiem in the Church of the Nativity at 9. Burial will be in St. Rose cemetery.
