Obituaries for the children:

Julie Maria Olive Lepitre:  Union Leader (Manchester, NH), Wednesday, 20 May 1959:  Suncook - Mrs. Julie (Lepitre) Desmarais, 83, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her sister, Mrs. Jane Desmarais of Buck Street.  She was the widow of Henry Desmarais.  Born in East Angus, Que., Mrs. Desmarais had resided here for 72 years.  She was a member of the Sadality of the Ladies of St. Anne.  Members of the family, besides her sister, include three brothers, Ulric Lepitre of Suncook, Olivier Lepitre of Nashua and Alfred Lepitre of Lisbon, Me., and several nieces and nephews.  A solemn high mass of requiem will be sung at St. Jean-Baptiste Church Friday at 9 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Jean-Baptiste Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Petit Funeral Home, today and Thursday from 1 to 10 p.m.

 

Marie Jeanne Lepitre:  Concord Monitor (Concord, NH), Wednesday, 20 January 1982:  Pembroke - Jane (Lepitre) Desmarais, 104, formerly of Pembroke, died yesterday at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen.  Born in Cookshire, Quebec, she had lived most of her life in Pembroke and lived in Farmington before moving to Boscawen.  She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.  She leaves a daughter, Laura Lapierre Bourassa of Farmington; a granddaughter; a grandson; 14 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown.  Burial will be this spring at the old St. John the Baptist Cemetery.  Calling hours are today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Petit Funeral Home.  The Ladies of St. Anne will have a prayer service at the funeral home today at 7:30 p.m.

 

Joseph Arsene Lepitre:  Evening Gazette (Worcester, MA), Wednesday, 25 October 1939:  Man Killed by Saw - Willimansett, Oct. 25 - Joseph La Pite, 59, was killed instantly yesterday when a heavy belt pulley broke and plunged him against a saw table in the Martineau woodyard.

 

Olivier Lepitre:  Nashua Telegraph (Nashua, NH), Wednesday, 17 March 1976:  Oliver J. LePete, 86, former resident of this city for many years, died yesterday afternoon in a Boscawen nursing home after a long illness.  Born in Suncook on Dec. 3, 1889, the son of the late Joseph and Odile (LaFlotte) LePete, he had been employed at Jackson Mills of the Nashua Mfg. Co. while a resident here.  He was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Delia) Bernard of Fitchburg, Mass., and Mrs. Raymond (Florianne) Gardner of Nashua; three grandchildren, Miss Cheryl Gardner of Nashua, Mrs. Gino (Rose Mary) Membrino of Fitchburg and Mrs. Russell (Shirley) Hanson of Edgewood, Md.; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jane Desmarais of Farmington; several nephews and nieces, including Mrs. Delia Briand and Mrs. Clara Gabriel of Nashua and Mrs. Laura Bourassa of Farmington.  The Farwell Funeral Service, Nashua, is in charge of arrangements.
 

Joseph Ulric Lepitre:  Union Leader (Manchester, NH), Thursday, 1 July 1965:  Suncook - Ulric J. Lepitre, 73, a World War I veteran and lifelong resident of Suncook, died Tuesday night after a long illness.  He was a member of the John J. Maguire Post, American Legion.  Members of the family are two brothers, Olivier Lepitre of Boscawen and Alfred Lepitre of Lisbon, Me.; one sister, Mrs. Jane Desmarais of Farmington; nieces and nephews.  A solemn mass of requiem will be celebrated in the St. John Baptist Church Friday at 9 a.m.  Burial will be in St. John Baptist Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Petit Funeral Home, today from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m.
