Obituary:  Times Picayune (LA), Saturday, 12 June 1943:  Pitre - At residence, Raceland, La., on Thursday, June 10, 1943, at 7:55 o'clock p.m., Gaston Pitre, beloved husband of Alice Aupied and father of Nolan, Duey, Malvin, Ethel and Rena Pitre, also Mrs. Theodule Pertuit, aged 51 years.  Funeral took place from the Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, La., on Friday, June 11, 1943, at 5 o'clock p.m.  Services were held at St. Mary's Catholic church, Raceland, La.  Interment in St. Charles Catholic cemetery, Lafourche, La.

Nolan Simon Pitre:  Thibodaux Comet (LA), Monday, 1 July 1985:  Religious services were scheduled for 10 a.m. today from St. Mary Catholic Church for Nolan Simon Pitre, 73, a native and resident of Raceland, who died at 7:50 a.m. Saturday (29th June).  He is survived by his wife, Edla Babin Pitre; three sons, Hilton J., Murphy P. and Ray A. Pitre; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Peggy) Boudreaux and Jeanelle P. Griffin; two brothers, Dewey and Malvin Pitre; two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Ethel) Foret Jr. and Mrs. Jessie (Rena) LeBlanc; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Pitre; and one sister, Theodule (Viola) Pertuit.  Interment was to be in St. Mary Cemetery.  Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.

Viola Pitre:  Houma Courier (LA), Monday, 2 February 1976:  Funeral services were to be held from Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. for Viola Pitre Pertuit, 62, who died Sunday at 5:45 p.m.  Religious services were to follow from St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland at 10 a.m.  Burial was to be in the church cemetery.  Visitation was to be from 4 until 10 p.m. today and from 7 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday.   She was the wife of the late Theodule 'Tatie' Pertuit and mother of Jimmy Pertuit.  She was the sister of Mrs. Roland (Ethel) Gaubert, Mrs. Jessie (Rena) LeBlanc, Nolan, Duey, and Malvin Pitre, and also the late Lloyd Pitre.  She was the daughter of the late Gaston and Alice Aupied Pitre.  She was also survived by one granddaughter.   She was a native of Lafourche Crossing and a resident of Raceland.

Malvin Thomas PitreLafourche Daily Comet (LA), 14 October 1998:  A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland for Malvin Thomas Pitre, 78, a native of Lafourche Crossing and resident of Raceland, who died at 10:15 a.m. Oct. 12, 1998.  Burial was at the church cemetery.  He was the husband of Clara Babin Pitre; father of Malvin T. Pitre Jr.; foster father of Roger and Abel Bourgeois; brother of Ethel Foret and Rena LeBlanc; and grandfather of Brandon Thomas Pitre and Rocky Chauvin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaston and Alice Aupied Pitre; brothers, Nolan and Dewey Pitre and sister, Viola Pertuit.  He was a parishioner of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, a U.S. Army World War II veteran, member of Woodmen of the World, the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.  Falgout Funeral Homes, Inc. of Raceland.

Ethel Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), November 2013:  Ethel Pitre Gaubert Foret, 87, a native and resident of Raceland, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland.  A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.  She is survived by her son, Glynn Gaubert; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roland "Pete" Gaubert; second husband, Albert Foret Jr.; son, Jerry Gaubert; parents, Gaston and Alice Aupied Pitre; brothers, Nolan, Malvin and Dewey Pitre; and sisters, Viola Pertuit and Rena LeBlanc.  Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
 

Rena Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 8 October 1999:  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland for Rena Pitre LeBlanc, 71, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Raceland, who died at 4:39 p.m. Oct. 7, 1999.  Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home and 8 a.m. until funeral time at the church.  Burial will be at the church cemetery.  She was the mother of Ronnie, Wayne, Jessie Jr. and David LeBlanc, Carolyn Delahoussaye, Nancy Hage, Kathleen Robichaux and Tammy Plaisance; and sister of Ethel Foret.  She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie J. LeBlanc Sr.; parents, Gaston and Alice Aupied Pitre; brothers, Nolan, Dewey, Malvin Sr. and Lloyd Pitre; and sister, Viola Pertuit.  She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  She was an LPN.  Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
