Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. until funeral time at the church. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. He was the father of Larry Pitre, Lois Pitre, Joyce P. Trosclair, Dolores P. Orgeron and Rose Terrebonne; and the companion of Carol Olson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Liza Adams Pitre; son, Roy Pitre; daughter, Juliet Chiasson; brothers, Fedless, Edless, Loveless and Orleans Pitre; and sisters, Francis, Taya and Edolia Pitre.
