Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet, 5 October 1998:  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Harris Louis Pitre, 85, a native and resident of Cut Off, who died at 3:30 a.m. Oct 3,1998.  Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. until funeral time at the church.  Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.  He was the father of Larry Pitre, Lois Pitre, Joyce P. Trosclair, Dolores P. Orgeron and Rose Terrebonne; and the companion of Carol Olson.  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Liza Adams Pitre; son, Roy Pitre; daughter, Juliet Chiasson; brothers, Fedless, Edless, Loveless and Orleans Pitre; and sisters, Francis, Taya and Edolia Pitre.  Falgout Funeral Homes, Inc. of Galliano is in charge of arrangements.

Juliet Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet, July 1995:  A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for noon Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Juliet "Jul" Pitre Chiasson, 61, a native and resident of Cut Off who died at 5:45 a.m. Thursday, July 27 (1995).  Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. until Funeral time Saturday at the church. B urial is in the church mausoleum.  She was the wife of Arnold J. Chiasson: daughter of Russine "Sin" Charpentier and Harris "Hank" Pitre; mother of Faron and Carl Chiasson; and sister of Larry and Lois Pitre, Joyce Trosclair, Dolores Orgeron and Rose Terrebonne.  She is also survived by two grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Pitre.  She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a retired employee of the Lafourche Parish school system.

Lois Marie Pitre:  The Daily Comet (Lafourche, LA), 13 February 2013:  Lois Marie Pitre, 71, a native and resident of Galliano, died at 12:16 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano.  A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Galliano.  She is survived by her son, Kurt Crosby and wife, Susan; one daughter, Paddy Crosby; one brother, Larry Pitre; three sisters, Joyce Trosclair, Dolores Orgeron and Rose Terrebonne; and four grandchildren, Tara Cheramie, Allison Crosby, Lauren Guidry and Aaron Guidry.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Harris and Russin Charpentier Pitre; one brother, Roy Pitre; and one sister, Juliet Chiasson.  She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
