MISC:  There is a baptism of a 'Charles unknown' in the Ste. Martine register on 9 June 1841, born the same day, parents unknown.  The sponsors are Charles Lamoreux & Catherine Pitre.  If this Catherine is Charles' aunt (Celestin's sister), and Charles is the son of Celestin, why are the parents unknown as Celestin has married 2 weeks prior?

Obituaries for the children:

Alfred 'Wilfred' Pitre:  The Freeholder (Cornwall, ONT), Friday, 31 October 1913:  From The Freeholder November 3, 1893:  Wilfrid Lashamb of Cornwall, while hunting ducks on Lake St. Frances below Lancaster with a number of Cornwall men, was drowned on Oct. 27.  He went out in a duck boat and it was thought his rifle was discharged in the boat, making a hole in it.  One of the men nearby was seated on a blind, but was unable to rescue the unfortunate man as the blind was anchored.  Lashambe was 19 years of age.

- The Freeholder (Cornwall, ONT), Thursday, 14 May 1914:  From The Freeholder May 18, 1894:  The body of Wilfrid Lashamb, who was drowned in the fall of 1893, while duck hunting on Lake St. Francis, was found near St. Zotique by the steamer Rocket on May 11.

- The Northern Observer (Massena, NY), Thursday, 24 May 1894:  The body of Alex. Lashamb, of Cornwall, who was drowned while hunting ducks near Lancaster last fall, was found near St. Zotique, by the crew of the steamer Rocket last Saturday.  The remains were brought to Cornwall for interment.
