MISC: North Bay Nugget (North Bay, ONT), Wednesday, 29 December 1937: Sudbury - Dec. 29 - Although the condition of Leander Lejambe, Hanmer, is reported as much improved at St. Joseph's Hospital where he has been a patient since last Wednesday, Dr. G. Desmarais said today it will be two or three weeks before he will be able to return to his home. Lejambe, who is 60 years of age, suffered several broken ribs and a punctured kidney when a car allegedly driven by Napoleon Bertrand ran into a horse and cutter in which Lejambe was riding near the C.N.R. station at Hanmer.
