C. Lorraine, to Mr. Adrien Pitre, a popular young man of this vicinity.  The marriage was solemnized at four o'clock p.m. by Father Aug. M. Rochard, at the residence of the bride's father among a host of friends and acquaintances.  Fourteen beautiful young ladies served as bridesmaids with as many groomsmen in the following order: Milian Pitre and Miss Julia Lorraine, Leonce Pitre and Miss Julie Bruce, Joseph Bruce and Miss Loisca Pitre, Marcel Olin and Miss Camilia Pitre, Tele Terrebonne and Miss Vina Pitre, Isidor Bruce and Miss Alzire Pitre, Wilson Petit and Miss Valentine Galjour, Joseph Gaudet and Miss Vina Bourgeois, Nichola Melancon and Victoria Pitre, Augustin Pitre and Miss Louise Pere, Hudson Pierce and Miss Mexida Terrebonne, Joassin Bruce and Miss Cecile Gaspar, Cleopha Danos and Miss Adel Danos, Walter Para and Miss Dydia Lambos.  After the ceremony a sumptuous repast was served in honor of their guests.  Your correspondent noticed among those present, Mr. and Mrs. Felix J. Para, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Para, Mrs. Frank P. Para, Mr. and Mrs. O. S. Fremin and last but not least, Mr. J. Henriot, a prominent school teacher of this vicinity.  At six o'clock P.M. the groom and his young bride, accompanied by their guests, crossed over the bayou to the residence of Mr. Jackson Pierce, where supper was served at ten o'clock P.M.  Dancing was indulged in until a very late hour.  The community wishes a long and happy life to the new couple, and that they may never know an hour of sorrow is their friends sincerest wishes.
