Narcisse Tancrede Pitre:  Leader Observer (NY), Thursday, 6 August 1942 - Tancrede Pitre of Glendale, died July 30th in his 86th year.  He was born in Canada and resided in Queens 40 years,  He is served by three sons, Harry, Willie and Fred, and three daughters, Anna Ritter, Dora Miller and Nellie Woodward,  Funeral was from N.F. Walker Funeral Home, 8734 80th street.  Requiem mass was held at 11 o'clock.  Interment Monday in Most Holy Trinity Cemetery.

 

Pierre Joseph Pitre:  Evening Gazette (Worcester, MA), Saturday, 19 April 1924:  Joseph Pitre, 65, died yesterday in the home of his brother, Alphonse Pitre, 304 Wanoosnoc road, after nearly two years' illness.  He was a native of Canada and had lived here 35 years.  He leaves four other brothers, Tancrede of New York, Alexander, Telesphore and Jules of Canada, and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Primeau and Mrs. Alphonsine Barrette, both of Canada.

Antoine Alphonse Pitre:  Worcester Telegram (Worcester, MA), Tuesday, 16 November 1954:  Fitchburg - Alphonse T. Pitre, 90, of 304 Wanoosnoc road, died Monday afternoon at his home.  He was a resident of this city 50 years and operated a gasoline station on South street for many years.  He was a founder and active member of St. Francis Parish.  He was a member of the Artisans Society.  He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Hopkins with whom he made his home, Mrs. Chevalier Pitre of St. Philomene, P.Q., and Mrs. Arthur Landry of this city; two sons, Herve O. and Omer J. Pitre, both of this city; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  The funeral will be held from Aubuchon Funeral Home with a solemn high mass in St. Francis Church Thursday morning at 9.  Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.  Calling hours at the funeral home will be today and Wednesday.

 

Jules Pitre:  (photo)  Recently, in the parish church of Ste. Philomene, in Chateauguay, the funeral of Mr. Jules Pitre took place; He had been in business for many years.  Preceded by a carriage of flowers, the funeral procession went to the church where the body was lifted by Father Paiement, the parish priest.  The deceased is survived by his sons: Aubert, Chevalier, Adrien, Albini and Angelbert Pitre; his daughters, Mrs. Ernest Vallee (Aubertine), Mrs. Aldama Pharand (Parmelia), Mrs. Alphonse Dancause (Irene), Gerard Gagnier (Hermose) and Mrs. Conrad Dubuc (Antoinette); his daughters-in-law Mrs. Aubert, Mrs. Chevalier, Mrs. Lorenzo and Mrs. Angelbert Pitre; his sons-in-law, Ernest Vallee, Aldama Pharand, Alphonse Dancause, Gerard Gagnier and Conrad Dubuc; his brother, Alphonse Pitre of Fitchburg, Mass.; his sister Mrs. Joseph Primeau and other relatives.
