Wife Leocadie Delatte was born 15 October 1804 at Edgard, St. John, LA (baptism: 22 November 1804 St. John), and died Aft. 1855.  They were married 5 February 1822 at Edgard, St. John, LA.

- The sugar mill on his plantation was owned in partnership with his brother-in-law Drauzin Triche.  The plantation was about 5 miles above Thibodeaux on the left bank of Bayou Lafourche (Hwy. 308).

 

- 18 Sept 1840: widow Leocadie Deslatte requested an inventory:

**Land: Tract measuring 1 arpent more or less by 80 in depth, left bank Bayou Lafourche, 5 miles above Thibodaux, bounded above by Jean Baptiste Boudreaux and below by George Trosclair, with a dwelling & other buildings and improvements - $1400.  Tract measuring 1 arpent and a fourth more or less by about 80 in depth at a small distance below the former, bounded above by George Trosclair & below by Drauzin Triche with a sugarhouse used thereon in partnership with Drauzin Triche - $3000.

**Total appraisement: $11, 695.  (Leocadie made her mark.)
