Noel Doiron was born Abt. 1684 in Mines, Acadia, and died Abt. 13 December 1758 in the shipwreck of the Duke William on the way to France.   

 

Wife Marie Henry was born Abt. 1681 in Mines, Acadia, and died Abt. 13 December 1758 in the shipwreck of the Duke William on the way to France.  They were married Abt. 1705 in Boston, MA.

1- Louis Mathieu Doiron  b: 1 February 1706  Boston, MA (baptism: 21 September 1706 Port Royal); d: Abt. 13 December 1758  in the shipwreck of Duke William on way to France

Notes for Louis Mathieu Doiron:

- 1752 census, Ile St. Jean:  Louis Mathieu, ploughman, native of Baston, aged 48 years, he has been 26 months in the country.  Married to Magdelainne Pitre, native of Cap de Sable, bishopric of Quebec, aged 47 years.  They have Baptiste Olivier Douaron, their son, aged 18 years.  Hemilienne Perpétuité Douaron, their niece, orphan, native of l'Acadie, aged 12 years.  In live stock, they have: four oxen, three cows, two calves, three sows, and two pigs.  The land upon which they are settled is situated as in the preceding cases.  It was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. On it they have made a clearing for the sowing of 16 bushels of grain in the coming spring.

- 1752 census Ile St. Jean, Pointe Prime:  Michel Pitre, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 46 years, and has been in the country two years. Married to Marie Magdelaine Douaron, native of l'Acadie, aged 44 years.  They have four sons and two daughters: François Pitre, aged 19 years, Charles, aged 17 years, Paul Michel, aged 14 years, Simon, aged 13 years, Theotist, aged 21 years, Marie Magdelaine, aged 16 years, Eufrosinne, aged 8 years.  And in live stock: two oxen, one cow, and six pigs.  The land upon which they are settled is situated at Pointe Prime.  It was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. On it they have made a clearing for the sowing of ten bushels of wheat and eight bushels of oats in the coming spring.

- 1752 Ile St. Jean census: Paul Douaron, ploughman, native of l’Acadie, aged 43 years, he has been in the country 26 months.  Married to Margueritte Benoist, native of l’Acadia, 42 years.  They have one son and one daughter.  And, Pre. Paul Douaron, aged 15 years, native of l’Acadie; Pelagie Benoist, native of l’Acadie, aged 11 years, their nephews, orphans.  And in stock, they posess: two oxen, three cows, one calf, one bull, one sow, and one pig.  The land upon which they are settled is situated as in the preceding cases. It was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. On it they have made a clearing for the sowing of 16 bushels of grain in the coming spring.

Married to Magdelainne Tillac, native of l'Acadie, aged 35 years.  They have two sons and four daughters: Ambrois Douaron, aged 6 years; François, aged 4 years; Ozitte Josette, aged 12 years; Magdelaine Angelique, aged 10 years; Blanche, aged 8 years; Marie Joseph, aged 5 months.  Their live stock consists of one cow, one calf, one bull, one horse, and one pig.  The land upon which they are settled is situated at Point Prime. It was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. On it they have made a clearing for the sowing of twelve bushels of grain in the coming spring.

Married to Marie Tilliard, native of l'Acadie, aged 38 years.  They have four sons and four daughters: Paul Helie Douaron, aged 17 years; Laurent, aged 10 years; Joseph, aged 8 years; Gregoire, aged 2 months; Magdelaine, aged 14 years; Marie Rose, aged 12 years; Anastazie, aged 6 years; Anne Marie, aged 3 years.  They have the following live stock: two oxen, four cows, four calves, two mares, two pigs, and five fowls.  The land upon which they are settled is situated at Pointe Prime. It was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. On it they have made a clearing for the sowing of twenty-four bushels of grain in the coming spring.

Married to Marie Henry, native of l'Acadie, aged 72 years.  They have with them Jean Baptiste Douaron, their grandson, native of l'Acadie, aged 17 years.  And in stock, two cows with their calves.  The land upon which they are settled is situated at Pointe Prime. It was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. On it they have made a clearing for the sowing of twelve bushels of grain in the coming spring.
