- 23 January 1759: Benjamin, widower, and daughter Agnes disembarked at St. Malo from one of the "Five Ships". He resided in St. Suliac for the next six months and in La Gouesniere for the last six months of 1759, then St. Suliac until 1772.
- 15 September 1772: Living in France, Benjamin was listed as 45 years old, a widower, a little deranged, and as being from St. Malo. Marguerite Boudrot, his second wife, spins and sews.
- 17 July 1775: The family was in the parish of St. Jean l'Evangeliste in Chatellerault.
